  2. How do we go about making donations to SAS?

Please get all Sikhs Gurdwaras on board regardless of caste based i.e. Bhatra, Ravidassia, Ramgharia.

    Long Live The Khalsa!

  3. Well done to the SAS for high lighting the issues which our Sikh girls have experienced in this country since the early 80s. Unless we talk about these issues openly then they will not be resolved. What surprised me in the programme is that that the Muslim imman still looking for evidence that these perpetrators are muslims, the evidence is there, even the blind can see. How can you begin to discuss these issues with the Muslim leaders unless they accept the problem exists and it’s in their community.

    May long live the Khalsa.

I have been involved in several grooming cases in and around Buckinghamshire of all places. I am a Solicitor . I have noted clearly that it seems to very much a policy stance not to pursue these cases too much in depth by the police basically to avoid Youth Muslim and Sikh conflict. Unless the Police are put under pressure they will not really take a deep insight. If anyone’s wishes to seek help on a seva basis please don’t hesitate to contact me. I have several reported cases against the police . Unfortunately I think our community is so behind and until we deal with supporting each other we will lose sight of what is actually happening. Well Done to the Sikh Awareness Society.

  5. this is a very noble seva, one of the biggest issues that concern our society, you are right, it is a taboo. People frown apon these issues, which is why today this sort of abuse is kept in secrecy. Even though I my self have never experienced any grooming or sexual abuse, my heart strongly feels for the people that go through this. I am only 16, but i somehow want to help my sisters. I know 16 is a young age, but there is no age to do seva… i want to help, maybe in the form of a friend, with a non judgemental attitude.. i dont know.. but i want to help, with this noble cause. I think baba mohan singh ji is doing a very sacred thing. But why one, we should have lots and lots of faces willing to help. Living in a multicultural society, encourages you to see everyone with the same eye; with a non-judgemental attitude, so when someone becomes friendly with them, they give in easily, but we need to, together make our sisters realise, that not everything that shines is gold… i want to help, and i believe tomorrow hundreds more will.. 🙂

The tide is turning! We , the Hindus , Sikhs and Bhuddhists are aware of the grooming for a few decades. Now that the Rochdale issue hit the headlines, the British society is taking notice of a problem which is akin to cancer. While I commend the Sikh community for taking the lead, I would be equally delighted if the efforts are inclusive of all the communities affected. I am sure there are some muslim girls who are groomed, albiet a very tiny fraction. I will do whatever I can, along with my like minded friends for this noble cause. Often I see hapless helplessness whilst working in the NHS, when encountered with a tell tale case of grooming. Yes, its due to political correctness.
